Uncut Gems — A Film Worth Losing Sleep Over

I made a big mistake last night.

I went on Netflix at two in the morning and decided to check out the first fifteen minutes of the Safdie brothers’ film Uncut Gems. If you’ve seen it, I’m sure you wouldn’t be surprised I ended up going to sleep at four.

I could not stop watching.

Adam Sandler is at his best in this gritty underground crime drama, complete with gamblers, gangsters and expected bouts of violence.
